Paul Grigonis, O. D., FCOVD

Dr. Grigonis received his doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in 2011, a school held in the highest regard for its didactic and clinical faculty in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy. He trained under Dr. WC Maples and Dr. Steele, both of whom have been awarded the highest honors in Vision Therapy by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).

After graduation, he completed a rigorous post-doctoral Fellowship program through COVD. He provided vision therapy in South Carolina treating vision problems that interfere with reading, learning and attention (i.e. ocular motor dysfunction, convergence insufficiency, amblyopia, double vision, and strabismus). He later served as clinic
director of a vision therapy practice in Franklin, TN from 2013-2015. He has educated local schools and other healthcare practitioners about vision therapy, including in- services with local hospital staff. Dr. Grigonis also designed and provided school vision screenings for private schools in Franklin, TN.

He is a Fellow of COVD and a member of the Optometric Extension Program and Middle Tennessee Optometric Physicians Society. In his free time Dr. Grigonis plays tennis, sand volleyball, and several musical instruments.
